1989-2009. F.I.S. Ltd is twenty years old.
F.I.S. owes its foundation to the drive, vision and business acumen of a group of scientists. Ever since its inception, F.I.S. has employed a strongly specialist approach which time has proven to be the right one. The F.I.S. Team was in fact quick to focus on the preservation of feed quality as the company's principal business objective, using organic acids and the enhancement of the digestive processes through diet acidification.

 

In 1993 we created our mycotoxin binder SAFE ®. Its unique and innovative formula, which is based on a number of different active ingredients, was many years ahead of its time and this bold and original choice proved an immediate success. Our collaboration with leading research institutes, such as the Italian National Research Council (CNR) in Bari, the ongoing search for increasingly effective active ingredients and a strict quality policy, are among the strengths of our business.

 

For many years now an ISO certified quality management system has been in place at F.I.S. We closely monitor our output in order to guarantee our customers a safe and reliable product. With our wealth of experience and a constant desire to improve, F.I.S. is currently present in all segments of the agro-food industry.

Our growing market share both in Italy and abroad is confirmation of the success of our initial ideas. Although there is still a long way to go, we feel sure that the journey ahead will bring exciting challenges and many stimulating developments. We also know that on this journey we can count on the confidence of all of our customers who have helped us grow over time with their support and constructive input. The current market poses new challenges which require a great deal of effort and energy, but we are convinced that we must exploit these challenges in order to continue to grow and improve our know-how and our professionalism.
